How to Design a Mobile Ad Campaign

There are so many things right about this.
1. They’re using a beautiful and talented singer, who happens to be pregnant, which creates the first emotional response.
2. They associate an AIDS campaign with new life (i.e., pregnancy).
3. They put the bar code on Alicia’s t-shirt in, ahem, prime real estate.
4. They allow multiple methods of mobile purchasing to help donate to the AIDS cause, using standard text messaging, but also newer methods such as bar code scanning apps and our personal favorite: StickyBits.
StickyBits is a VC funded startup where you can buy bar-coded stickers and people who find them can scan for information, deals, or other things. They also have a very well-designed website.
